Essential Oils / Cedarwood
Botanical Name: Cedrus atlantica
Country of Origin:
Extraction Method: steam distilled
15 ml — $7.24
This is a new batch of Cedarwood from Morocco. It is a bit thinner than previous distillations, easier on the diffusor. This recent purchase was more expensive and the price reflects that, about $2 more than before. Really still a deal for half an ounce of nice quality Cedarwood.
Smells like cedar, very woodsy and familiar. This oil is used as an antiseptic and fungicide. It is used in massage when the intent is to treat respiratory problems, or to reduce edema and cellulite. It reduces oily secretions and can be added to shampoos and facial washes. As an inhalant, Cedarwood is a decongestant and is used to treat respiratory infections. This is one of the oldest known steam distilled oils.
