The leaves of the organically grown Blue leaved Mallee are used. The botanical name was changed to E. fruticetorum, but never really became effective as the former name had already been widely accepted. The nomenclature of Eucalyptus can be confusing. This is very sweet and gentle, and difficult to find. This chemotype of polybractea is used for sinus and bronchial congestion and infection. It is effective against inflammation of the mucous membranes and infections in the mouth and throat.
